2. Fundamental Principle: YOUR DATA IS YOURS

Messor does NOT send your data to any server.
All information is stored only on your device.
If you enable Google Drive backup (optional), data goes to YOUR Google Drive account, not to us.
We have no access to your data. We don't store it. We don't sell it.

3. Information the app stores (on your device)

Messor stores locally on your device the following information:

• Pet data: name, species, breed, birth date, photo, microchip number
• Medical records: vaccines, medications, vet visits, surgeries, documents
• Health diary: weight, temperature, symptoms, behavior
• Expenses: amounts, categories, receipts
• Reminders: appointments, scheduled medications
• Emergency contacts: veterinarians and emergency numbers

4. Storage: 100% local

All data is stored only on your device. Messor is an "offline-first" app: it works completely without internet connection.

We have no servers. We don't store any of your data. We have no way to access your information.

5. Google Drive: OPTIONAL and in YOUR account

This feature is completely optional. If you choose to enable it:

• Data is saved to YOUR own Google Drive account, not to Messor servers
• We use Google Sign-In only so YOU can access YOUR Google Drive
• We only access a specific Messor folder in your Drive
• We have no access to that data - it's in your Google account
• You can disable this feature or delete the folder at any time

If you don't enable Google Drive, the app works perfectly with local storage only.

6. App Permissions

Messor requests the following permissions, all optional depending on the features you use:

• Camera: To take photos of pets and receipts
• Storage: To save and access photos and documents
• Calendar: To add reminders to your calendar
• Contacts: To import vet contacts (read only)
• Notifications: For medication and appointment reminders
• Biometrics: To protect the app with fingerprint or Face ID
• Internet: Only for optional Google Drive sync

7. Data we DO NOT collect

• We don't use analytics or tracking tools
• We don't collect location data
• We don't share data with third parties
• We don't show advertising
• We don't sell any data

8. In-App Purchases

Voluntary donations are processed through Google Play or App Store. We have no access to your payment data. These transactions are subject to Google's and Apple's privacy policies respectively.

9. Security

Data stored on your device is protected by:

• Device operating system encryption
• Optional biometric lock (fingerprint/Face ID)
• Google Drive backups use your Google account security

10. Your Rights

Since all data is on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All data is visible in the app
• Modification: You can edit any data
• Deletion: You can delete individual data or uninstall the app
• Export: You can export your data in Excel or PDF format

11. Children

Messor is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or other means.
